Michael Viscera

During a 23-year career with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Mr. Viscera served in numerous examination and leadership roles, culminating in two years as the Lead Examiner overseeing one of the largest financial institutions in the country with the CFPB. He was a regular instructor/presenter for the FDIC and OTS on topics such as fair lending, Regulation Z, and HMDA. Mr. Viscera began his career as an examiner in the FDIC’s Concord, NH Office.

Prior to joining the FDIC, Mr. Viscera spent seven years in the Active United States Army serving in Germany and Fort Bragg North Carolina. After separation from active duty, he served an additional 18 years in the New Hampshire Army National Guard and retired in 2008 with 25 years of military service.

Mr. Viscera earned as Associates Degree from Leicester Junior College with a focus on business and a Bachelor’s degree from Nichols College as an accounting major.
