Peter Dunn is the Managing Partner of Peter T. Dunn & Company, LLC—Global Advisors. He was also a founding partner and Director of Edgar, Dunn & Company—the Global Management Consulting Company.
Prior to that he was a Partner with Touche Ross & Company. He has over 40 years of providing strategy and finance consulting services and is an international expert in the analysis, design, and implementation of bank card and other account structures and systems. Peter’s extensive work in the area of bank cards has included the design and implementation of a worldwide net settlement and foreign currency conversion systems for a global credit card association and assistance with the design and administration of interchange, interbank pricing and settlement systems.
He has assisted with the design and implementation of new credit card products for businesses and associations, conducted pricing studies, and developed financial models to evaluate the profitability of cardholder and financial services. He has led many strategic planning studies for financial institutions, utility and manufacturing companies. He has given expert testimony on a variety of payment subjects in several Countries.. In addition, he has written numerous articles and given presentations to national and international financial groups. He was Managing Director of Edgar, Dunn through 1998.
Peter holds an MBA, Computers and Information Systems, Operations and Systems Analysis, from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an A.B., Mathematics and Social Sciences, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College. He has served on several for-profit and non-profit boards. He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the American and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
